Briels does not limit himself to painting on linen and creating three-dimensional objects. He also produces statues, glassware and carpets. Briels designed dining room chairs for Leolux, he upholstered fifty Ford Kas with his fabric design and another thousand Ford Kas bear his signature in the special 'Art with a large Ka' edition. In addition, Briels was the official artist of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. He was the first Dutch artist to be selected by the American Olympic Committee. His art was featured in the design of the official poster for the 2002 Winter Olympics.
