'Seated Figure' is a minimalist semi cubist work, with a form outlined using simple curves and lines, harmoniously balanced. It is a unique and original work.
Sculptures created in concrete are made using a combination of layering and carving; addition and subtraction.
Concrete is added gradually to a rigid frame, as it cures more layers are then added or removed as the form
develops. A process requiring time and focus, often taking weeks or months to complete a single piece.
The final result offers a unique work with a surface layer comprising of multiple layers meshed and intertwined
together.
