'Main Event' is an abstract work in concrete. An original and beautiful figurative form, designed with a soft touch of cubism and an overall flowing form.
Sculptures created in concrete are made using a combination of layering and carving; addition and subtraction. Concrete is added gradually to a rigid frame, as it cures more layers are then added or removed as the form develops. A process requiring time and focus, often taking weeks or months to complete a single piece. The final result offers a unique work with a surface layer comprising of multiple layers meshed and intertwined together.
Created by Clark Camilleri born 1986. A self taught artist working in Italy and Malta. He specializes in international online sales and commissions. He is a professional sculptor with a booming online presence and a large diversified portfolio of works.
