Christo always worked together with his wife Jeanne-Claude Denat de Guillebon. The two were always mentioned together, and they worked together until Jeanne-Claude passed away in 2009. Christo 's talent was discovered in his younger years by the artists who visited his mother's home. From 1972 onwards, the couple worked exclusively with the photographer Wolfgang Volz. Some of Christo 's large and well-known works are Valley Curtain and Running Fence. In 1995, the couple was given permission to pack the Reichstag in Berlin.
