Chantalle Smeets has been active as a professional artist for 20 years after 4 years of WIK (income support artist act) in Maastricht Netherlands. Together with Martiene Stevens (her partner and also artist), they manage Kunsthuis Trobar Riemst (B).
During these years Chantalle Smeets has developed her own style, which is visible in her bronze, stone, ceramic and wood sculptures. Her source of inspiration is nature. She has exhibited at various galleries and castles (also sculpture gardens) in the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain. Besides her sculptures in various sizes she also exhibits paintings on canvas and panel in mixed techniques.
