Chantalle Smeets, after 4 years of WIK (wet inkomensuitkering kunstenaar) in Maastricht Netherlands, has been active as a professional artist for 20 years. Together with Martiene Stevens (her partner and also artist), they manage Kunsthuis Trobar Riemst (B).
During these years Chantalle Smeets has developed her own style, which is visible in her bronze, stone, ceramic and wood sculptures. Her source of inspiration is nature.
She has exhibited at various galleries and castles (also sculpture gardens) in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Besides her sculptures in various sizes she also exhibits paintings on canvas and panel in mixed techniques.
