Large mixed media painting on canvas. Canvas is stretched on a wooden frame and has a depth of 4 cm. Materials used are acrylic, oil, chalk and charcoal. Unique copy, not a series, one available. Condition is new. Buyer will receive a document directly from the artist stating the story about the painting, authenticity and guarantee of purchase and uniqueness. Shipping is possible and the painting will be delivered in a box, packed in cardboard and/or bubble wrap, depending on the travel distance to the buyer.
About Chantal van Leeuwen
Dutch artist Chantal van Leeuwen was immersed in the art world from her early childhood. Her father is an artist, while her mother is a stylist. They often took her to art exhibitions in the Netherlands and in Paris and other parts of France when she was young. She always showed an extraordinary interest in the artistic world. She studied textiles, fashion and interior design, where model drawings and compositions were central. "After my creative studies, I took classes in drawing, abstraction and mixed media from different artists. And I studied 17th-century painting techniques for three years."
Chantal worked as an interior designer for 20 years, counting fashion labels, real estate companies and design studios among her clients with her own company, Osmosis Interior. She even worked on a Dutch television program. Now living in the Algarve, she concentrates on her artworks, all of which are inspired by her past experiences. Chantal regularly exhibits at art fairs, galleries and hotels in Portugal, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and other countries.
