Product description
This iconic table from the Pastoe brand was designed in the 1960s by Cees Braakman and is part of the well-known Japanese series.
When retracted, you can sit on the long sides with 4 people, but if you extend the table, 6 chairs will easily fit around it. And if you have enough chairs, you can even place 2 more chairs at the ends for a total of 8 people.
The frame is made of solid wenge wood without major damage. The formica top also looks very neat for its age. Just a few light superficial scratches. Overall in very good vintage condition. A heavy, solid table that can be used practically.
Length retracted 120 cm
Extended length 175 cm
Width 85 cm
Height 72.5 cm
Height bottom side 64 cm
Height bottom of head 61 cm
The table is sold excluding the chairs in the photo. The table legs can be dismantled for transport. For the purists: one of the screws is not original, but this is almost invisible due to a clever cover cap.
Very light superficial scratches on the formica top. In addition, one of the original screws is missing, which has been replaced by a good alternative, see advertisement text.
