- Awesome closet by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, model KB02. - Period: 1954. - Country of origin: Netherlands / Dutch design UMS. - This cabinet is from the well known birch series a design by Cees Braakman. - Inspired by the design series of Edward J. Wormley. - For that period for the first time applied new technique of plywood material. - Discovered by Charles & Ray Eames and then introduced/picked up by the Dutch designers Cees Braakman, Cor Alons and W. Lutjens. - For the connoisseur a very popular specimen. Executed at the time in 3 different types of models, this is the hanging cabinet model KB03 equipped with a mirror, comb tray and tie hanger, half hanging half laying cabinet. - Given its age still in good vintage condition. Easy to place because of its dimensions: W104 x D51.5 x H169 cm. The original key is also still present.
