The Cassina Grand Confort Sofa is a classic design by Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret. Since 1965, Italian Cassina has been publishing the beautiful LC series, but the design itself dates back to 1928. At this time, Le Corbusier was working with his cousin Pierre Jeanneret in a studio in Paris. The great success came in 1927, when they decided to collaborate with a young architect: Charlotte Perriand. Many design successes followed from this fruitful collaboration, including this LC3 Sofa. In 1929, when it was first presented, the sofa represented everything that was new and modern in furniture. Even now, almost 100 years later, the sofa can still be called modern.
Unlike the petit version, this version features wider dimensions in width and has a lower seat height, which is 40 centimeters. Features of the sofa are the low back and the chrome frame that holds the loose cushions together.Normal signs of use.
