Product description
The LC1 chair, now known as the 1 Fauteuil Dossier Basculant, was originally introduced at the Salon d'Automne in 1929 by designers Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. Since then, the LC1 chair has become one of the most iconic furniture designs of the 20th century, and Cassina took over production of the piece in 1965. The chair is made of a lightweight tubular steel frame, a hallmark of the designers' collections, and is ergonomically designed using a system based on the dimensions of the human body to ensure ultimate support and comfort. The chair has a compact silhouette, with a black leather seat and tilting backrest, with armrests in matching leather. A timeless classic, this LC1 chair looks as modern today as it did in 1929, making it the perfect addition to any modern living space.
