Le grenier de Josephine
Savenay, France
Product description
Large vase in a color between ochre and goldenrod, passing through honey or caramel, chocolate-brown interior. It was made by the iconic West German ceramics studios in the 50s and 60s by Carstens Tonnieshof (stamp no. 7345 - 50) This mid-century floor vase, very modern in the 50s, is a timeless work of art that blends effortlessly into any interior. Manufactured at a time known for its clean lines, organic forms and emphasis on functionality, this floor vase embodies the essence of Mid - Century design while blending harmoniously into your contemporary space. With or without flowers, it's sublime (to appreciate its volume, the bouquet in the vase measures 1 m high). Height 51 cm, diameter 18 cm. Very good overall condition, with a chip on the neck and a very slight crack (cf. photo), which in no way affects the object's solidity. Given its age, these few marks of time are nothing compared to its authentic elegance.
Note: a small chip on the collar and a slight crack (see photo).
