Le petit voleur du souk

Product description
This is a unique, rare and sought-after antique carpet that is becoming increasingly rare with time. From Boujaad, these carpets are compared to a painting and are admired like a work of art. The boldness and creativity of the women of the Berber tribes in the Middle Atlas allow them to create freely from their own experiences, blending shapes and colors to perfection, using only vegetable dyes. The Boujaad carpet is woven from 100% natural sheep's wool, giving it a soft texture. It is hand-knotted on a traditional wooden loom, according to ancestral know-how handed down through the generations. Each rug has imperfections and an irregular Abrash appearance, as the manufacturing process is traditional and ancient. Shades are only due to the passage of time. In fact, it bears some of the marks of wear and tear that give it its charm, and bear witness to its history. You can be sure that you're buying a timeless, authentic and traditional piece. Construction: Handmade Age: approx. 30-40 years Approx. dimensions: 357 x 181 cm We would be grateful if you could check in advance that your rug is available.
