Marcel Breuer was a German-Hungarian architect and designer. He was one of the central figures in the field of modern architecture and design in the 20th century. His impressive oeuvre includes the UNSECO headquarters in Paris and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York. Until his immigration to the USA, due to his Jewish origins, he was active at the Bauhaus Weimar. Here he created icons such as the club chair B3 (Wassily) and the Cesca Chair. In the USA, he founded the architecture faculty at Harvard University together with Walter Gropius. Breuer died in New York in 1981. Minor damage to the weave. The seats have been reinforced with mesh. Labeled. The set contains two chairs.
