Product description
Offered, this bombastic and intimidating armchair with ottoman, which are beautifully designed and whose seat can also be called comfortable.
This very special and unique Brazilian Brutalist armchair with ottoman comes from the middle of the last century and testifies to the ingenuity of Brazilian design from this period. Brazilian design is known for its wooden craftsmanship, which means that little or no use was made of glue and screws in this unique design. What a rare catch!
The designers adopted traditional techniques and materials to create a modern interpretation that intertwined local tradition. This armchair consists of a solid wood frame with a hanging thick leather shell. Both the armchair and the footstool have a cushion made of different pieces of leather stitched with gaucho-style leather laces, adding even more strength to this exceptional original piece of furniture. This set is both sculptural and unique in its silhouette and is also extremely comfortable. This set is in the style of mid-century modern designers such as Jean Gillon, Percival Lafer and Sergio Rodrigues.
