Product description
Beautiful folding chair by Angel I. Pazmino produced by Muebles de Estilo from Ecuador in 1974. The frame of the chair is made of meranti, a tropical hardwood. The image-defining and characteristic of Angel Pazmino's furniture is the engraved saddle leather upholstery. Various reliefs have been made in the very thick saddle leather that are inspired by the indigenous art form of the Inca and Aztec culture. Considering its age, the chair is still in very good condition. The leather has a beautiful patina, the wood still has a deep shine. Light scratches on the bottom of the legs and on the wood near the folding mechanism. This is due to years of daily use. Not immediately visible. One chipped piece of wood on the right front leg.
The furniture from Angel Pazmino are true eye-catchers and can be easily combined with a Brutalist interior.
Dimensions are as follows: 82 cm in height, 97 cm in width and 71 cm in depth.
