MP-41 two-seater sofa in orange/brown leather and solid walnut frame, designed by Percival Lafer in 1970 for MP Lafer, Brazil. The sofa was reupholstered several years ago by a professional upholsterer. The harness leather straps holding the upholstered seat in place are still original. Over the decades, the lacquer on the wood had discolored so much that the original color of the wood had been lost. Our restorer decided to completely strip the frame and apply several coats of natural oil. As a result, the beautiful deep dark brown color of the solid walnut is visible again!
