Product description
This standing bookcase is a design by Italian architect Bruno Rainaldi (1952 - 2011). About this design he said: I believe that books should not be placed standing, as in a bookcase, but lying down. Not only because of the fact that the spine titles are more readable. The "column of knowledge" is vertical and not horizontal.
The bookcase is made of gray enameled steel, is 210 high and contains 13 shelves of 21x15, with a base plate of 36x36. The cabinet is from 2009, which is before B&B Italia took this design into production.
