Height:27 cm Length:49 cm The artist Milo: Miguel Fernando Lopez was born on June 12, 1955 in Lisbon and is a Portuguese artist. His father worked as an antique dealer and so Miquel soon came into contact with different types of art and thus developed his passion for sculpture art. He wanted to join the Portuguese army but then met a girl in Lisbon just before entering the army. As he fell in love with her, he canceled his plans. This affair unfortunately did not last but Milo decided to stay in Lisbon anyway. Sculpture was one of his hobbies so Miguel decided to study art and sculpture at a university near his home. Milo also studied abroad for some years in Rome and Venice, learning to speak Italian and about the cities' lifestyle and exciting nightlife. Back in Lisbon, Milo sold his first bronze sculptures to a German entrepreneur who was very enthusiastic about his work. Today he is still in contact with this first client and works closely with this bronze foundry and works there as a freelance artist. He is married to Isabel and has three children and still lives in Lisbon. Milo creates bronze animal sculptures, modern bronze art and bronze nude figures, among others.
