Beautiful and rare bronze foo dog, temple lion, also known as komainu guardian lion or singha, made of patinated bronze, probably Chinese or Burmese, second half of 20th century. They usually number 2 and stand at the entrance of a temple or altar to guard it from outside evil influences, highly decorative and quality crafted.
