LISCIO shiny and strong, made from eucalyptus fibers The quality Liscio is tufted from yarn made from Lyocell fibers of the brand TENCEL™. Lyocell fibers are of botanical origin as they are extracted from the raw material wood. The wood is obtained from eucalyptus trees from a certified forest with an official FSC label. The wood pulp is converted into cellulose fibers with high resource efficiency and low ecological impact, it marks the fiber production itself as extremely environmentally friendly. The smooth texture of the fibers gives Liscio a beautiful lustre and is particularly silky smooth. It gives the carpet a luxurious, soft velvety surface. It is a characteristic of the carpet that it is subject to sitting or pressure markings, this occurs due to change in light reflection which is naturally reversible during use. Lyocell is cooler than linen and stronger than polyester. It has a very good moisture management system. The hydrophilic yarn absorbs moisture completely and naturally, which will eventually evaporate.
