Superb box, vintage jewelry box from the 70s and 80s, beautifully crafted by traditional Egyptian artisans. Wooden box inlaid with mother-of-pearl, bone and stone or black enamel. Elongated hexagonal shape, lid entirely inlaid with fine geometric motifs, wooden sides with inlaid parts. Dark pink velvet lining inside. 21cm total length, 13cm width, 6-6.5cm max. height. Very good overall condition, with a few slight age marks, small scratches and discreet flaws. Small glue mark on velvet inside. Approx. 800gr.
