Product description
Simplistic design from Dutch soil: this wood and leather crafted (desk) chair designed in the 1960s by Ate van Apeldoorn for Houtwerk Hattem.
The bohemian chair has a minimalist sleekly designed wooden frame composed of solid round wood.
The back two legs run through and together with slightly curved wooden slats form the backrest.
The seat is made of a piece of cognac-colored saddle leather that is beveled at the corners so that it falls elegantly around the chair legs.
Through a total of twelve metal punched holes in the flaps under the seat, the seat is connected to the wooden frame with sturdy rope.
The chair is in beautiful, original condition. The woodwork has been thoroughly cleaned by us, and the saddle leather has also had a maintenance treatment. The chair is ready for immediate use.
