Bengt Orup was a pioneer of Swedish postwar modernism.
In 1946, Orup went back to Paris for a year, where he first experimented with pure, geometric forms. During the late 1940s and early 1950s, Orup created a series of l'art concret paintings with refined geometric forms and strong contrasts.
Art Concret was an avant-garde group of artists founded in Paris in 1929 that championed a geometric abstract art closely related to the aesthetic of neo-plasticism.
When shipped, the lithograph will be carefully packaged and shipped by PostNL.
