Beautiful industrial factory workshop chair from BEMEFA with great patina. Made in Germany in the 1950s, designed by Robert Wagner, ROWAC. Great design for comfort, due to the sitting position, suspension seat and suspension backrest. The seat spring acts as a shock absorber. The Backrest can be moved forwards and backwards and up and down in any direction. These chairs are in good vintage condition with signs of wear. Only repairs to the veneer are visible.
The chair is height adjustable from 47-59cm high, width 40 cm, depth 50 cm
Rowac (Robert Wagner Chemnitz) was founded in 1888 by Robert Wagner, an ironmonger in Chemnitz, Saxony, which produced furniture for industrial use.
After the Second World War, the Rowac company was transformed into VEB BEMEFA (factory equipment and metalware factory).
