Biography Luc Martinsen (1951) is a Belgian painter working mainly within the framework of neo-expressionism. As a painter/graphic artist, he went to school at the Ghent Academy, later becoming a pupil of Etienne Elias. In 1982, he was included as one of the representatives of "new painting" in the collection of the Mu.ZEE, formerly PMMK in Ostend.
