In the 50s/60s, space travel inspired the German company HUGER to create the model Sputnik weather station in a brass version with Plexiglas housing.
This rare collector's model can be used as a table model but can also be wall mounted.
Version BGM No. 1765968 with 3 functions: Thermometer, Hygrometer and Barometer.
The acrylic glass globe is individually rotatable on the base.
The barometer is also individually rotatable in the sphere.
Air pressure display in mm-quicks and millibars.
Height about 21 cm, diameter sphere about 15 cm.
The "Sputnik" is in very good and working condition.
