Paolo Piva developed the ADIA bed for B&B Italia at the end of the 1980s. He is one of the greatest architects of the 20th century and the furniture he designed is legendary. With ADIA, he succeeded in creating a special designer model that is still unrivaled today. It remains something very special.
The bed is made of melting steel and textured with a slate gray powder. The feet are made of brushed brass. The headrests - here in black leather - can be adjusted in any direction so that they face each other, for example, to use the table at the back or the two tables at the front.

The bed has a rubber projector on the edge. Due to the excellent quality of the B&B Italia finish, there are no signs of wear on the metal parts. The dimensions are 2x2 meters with a round table on each side and a long table at the head end. We have set the tables slightly higher so that they can be moved freely. This is reversible at any time. For reasons of comfort, we have replaced the hard futon top with slatted frames. I am also happy to include the almost new mattresses.
