Paolo Piva developed the ADIA bed for B&B italia at the end of the 1980s. He is one of the greatest architects of the 20th century and the furniture he designed is legendary. His unique bed has yet to be topped. It is made of melting steel and textured with a slate gray powder. The feet are made of brushed brass. The black leather headrests can be adjusted in any direction so that they face each other, for example, to use the table at the back or the two tables at the sides - perfect for Sunday mornings.
The bed has a rubber projector on the edge. The dimensions are 2x2 meters with a table on each side and a table at the head end. For reasons of comfort, we have replaced the hard futon top with slatted slats. We are also happy to include the almost new mattresses.
The leather of the pillows has become a little looser. One of the small tables has slight traces of cream.
