B & B Italia was founded as the successor to C & B Italia when Piero Ambrogio Busnelli took over C&B Italia. From the outset, the company wanted to distinguish itself as a strong, modern Italian brand based on an industrial model, using both high-tech production methods and high-tech materials, including plastic and polyurethane foam. It quickly gained a reputation as one of the leading manufacturers of modern Italian design in the second half of the twentieth century.The leather of the armchair gives it a beautiful patina. There are some creases in the leather due to its age, but these do not negatively affect the appearance of the armchair.
