Beautiful and unusual vase, ear vase in red and azure glazed crackle ceramic, by Bay Keramik, West Germany, 1960s.
Rare in this shape and color pattern, unique design, fine narrowed red neck, convex vase with rings in deep azure color, dark brown glaze inside.
West Germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that came on the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some famous names include Roth, Carstens, Ruscha, Jopeko, Jasba, Fohr, but perhaps the biggest were Scheurich and Bay.
