This rug is knotted entirely by hand in the manner of the Berber-Moroccan rugs of the early '900s.
After the initial shaving and hand washing, each rug is cut to the surface with scissors to create the typical irregularities. One side is finished with wool stitching and the other side has fringes woven one at a time.
