We are selling a small table lamp from the 1960s, which is probably based on the wonderful cone lamp designs by Bauhaus designer Marianne Brandt. As this is the only lamp of its kind to be found, nothing else is known about its provenance.
Unusually, the white opal glass lampshade is connected to the lamp by a bayonet catch.
The lamp is in a remarkably excellent overall condition for its age of around 60 years, almost as new. Only minor damage to the paint on the underside of the base indicates that it was ever used.
