Beautiful modernist bookcase / cupboard / room divider, model 663, designed by Wim Rietveld in 1954 for Gispen.
Rare piece, very hard to find and highly sought after today.
A Dutch design icon.
This modular bookcase can be customized to your taste. The doors can be moved to different positions. The cabinet is freestanding and can therefore also be used as a room divider.
It has a gray steel frame and shelves. And it has colored (yellow-red and black) doors, side and back panels.
A fantastic work of industrial art.
The cabinet is in good condition with signs of wear due to age and use. Some shelves have corrosion as you can see in the pictures. We have placed these shelves behind the doors so that they are not visible
The colors of the front doors are slightly faded compared to the side and back panels.
Patina due to age, corrosion on some shelves, colors of the front doors are slightly faded, panels close bulky.
