Rare set of two high barstools by Belgian Designer Axel van Enthoven ( 1947 ) for Rohe Noordewolde Dutch, 19080s. The base consists of four beams of cane that make the entire back and legs. The stools have been reupholstered in a white bouclé but can easily be replaced if so desired. The cane is in good condition, no real scratches but some light fading at some spots which just adds character to this wonderful pair.
