Pressed and satinized/opaque glass with rose flower decor made in famous glass factory Inwald Company. A very unique work of art in Lalique style. 1930. 18 cm high. Diameter at the top 24 cm, diameter base 10 cm. Weighs 1714 grams Has a small damage on the edge of the foot which is not very noticeable because it is under the vase. Inwald Company was one of the largest glassworks in Bohemia after the 1880s. It was founded in 1862 by Josef Inwald (1837-1906),one of the most notable Boho entrepreneurs in the glass industry at that time. The year 1878, when Josef Inwald established his first glass factory (primary glass production) at Zlíchov in Prague, was a milestone in the development of a company that ran several glass refineries (enterprises to refine hollow glass) and an important moment in the history of glass production in Prague see catalog number 622
