There are normal yet minimal signs of use. Has hung at my home. I am a non-smoker so no discoloration. Top and body are otherwise completely undamaged. In 1 drawer the green velvet bottom layer is damaged by a few drops of some liquid. Otherwise the furniture is still very nice and always well maintained
