These 'Balance' (Model C-1550) wall lamps by Raak Amsterdam were designed by the Bertrand Balas. The lamps are designed with French sophistication and southern panache. The lamp consists of a gold-colored brass casting in fine-grained texture. The lamps are designed so that they can be hung either with the opening facing down or up. Thus, they can be used both solo and in a composition. In composition they can be hung side by side with free interpretation of directions (two in the same direction or two in opposite directions). The condition of this set is still very good with minimal signs of use and wear (see photos). The bulbs have normal E27 sockets and were completely rewired including grounding and socket.
