Marieke van der Schaar, born in Amsterdam in '89 uses a variety of techniques to represent what moves and moves her. Her ceramic work, but also gouches, drawings and collages carry lightness and vulnerability. Intuitively, she sketches her ideas and observations on paper, wood, plaster or in clay. They are quick notes is thrown up what has not yet been fully realized. She derives her designs from what she encounters around her. The Academy for Visual Education Tilburg and Industrial Design in Eindhoven. She has been part of the artist group ZEBRA for many years. Graphic Design: for years part of the graphic design studio R2D in Tilburg with Jac. De Kok. Currently working independently in Hoogeloon, Graphic designs for a.o. Stichting Plint, Meteo Consult, Tilburgse Kunststichting and Drieons theater productions and many industrial clients.
