A unique modernist "Space Age" armchair created by Paul Boulva for the 1976 Montreal Olympics and produced by Artopex in Canada.
The chair has a chromed metal frame with a molded plastic seat and an upholstered back and seat. The chair is upholstered in a boucle fabric of an orange woven fabric. Very comfortable design and stackable if used with other Lotus chairs.
Stamped with original manufacturer's stamp on bottom of seat 'ARTOPEX - Series LOTUS Series - Artopex LTEE LTD. - 2121 Berlier Laval Quebec - Fabrique au Canada - Made in Canada'.
The condition of the chair is very good, but with some signs of use.
