Bought by my parents at Artihome, Amstelveen in 1970 for a very contemporary interior. Artihome was/is an Amsterdam studio that started making and selling furniture after the war. This table measures 80 x 80 cm and is 35 cm high. The base is in wenge wood and the top is sleek formica on a base of plywood furniture board. Very soundly constructed. The wooden base shows slight discoloration locally. The formica top is near perfect despite its age with almost invisible signs of use.
