The Globus is a unique design workstation designed by Michiel van der Kley for Artifort. The Globus consists of a cast aluminum base on wheels with a cast plastic sphere made of two parts above it. Once open, the wheels lock. One half of the sphere consists of a comfortable seat. The swivel mechanism of the seat makes getting in and out very easy. In the other half sphere is a table that can be adjusted to the right depth by an adjustment mechanism. The color of the leather is not quite as in reality in these photos. It is Ohmann Leather Collection Misto color 8099 Mustard (see corresponding photo). Note: The sphere has a diameter of one meter and the floor plate is heavy.
