After 50 years, my parents exchanged their Artifort armchair F588 for a model that is easier for them to get up from. The chair was purchased on March 14, 1973 and has always been in their possession. The chair was reupholstered in the 1990s. The photos show that 1 spot has been repaired. It is possible that there was smoking in the house in the early years, but certainly not in the last 35 years
