This wonderfully comfortable 1969 vintage lounge armchair Alky by designer Giancarlo Piretti for Artifort is spacious in design and therefore easily finds a place in your interior. This Alky is made in one of De Ploeg's evergreens, the diagonally woven Toulouse wool bouclé fabric in a warm red color. The armchair still looks good for vintage, especially the back looks like new. However, the seat does show clear (for its age normal) signs of use as discoloration/blurred stains and spots where the bouclé (loop) thread is fluffy (no holes!). The armchair has alumunium strips at the bottom with plastic floor glides. A great buy this design classic!
