This Italian designer was the founder of the Memphis group (1981-1987), a group of interior designers who resisted the strict functional rules of modernism of the time. This floor lamp is full of clear references to this style movement. It is a powerful design with clear colors and an unexpected combination of geometric shapes.
The Callimaco Floor Lamp resembles a match, which, with its soft red upwards lampshade, also seems to be ignited when the light is on.
