The kinetic object was created in the mid-1970s and is a personal gift from a well-known goldsmith at the time. Probably a model for a large object. The acrylic glass of the base is in perfect condition, the arches are made of black lacquered brass, so the arches still rotate beautifully and for a long time. Amazingly stable despite the narrow base. It's great fun to set the arches and round plates in rotation and watch what happens. As the object is so small and delicate, it doesn't mind if it falls over.
There are tiny marks in the area of the movable feet. The paint has rubbed off a little there. The colored plastic elements are inserted with a liquid glue that oozes out a little. I think this is due to the manufacturing process.
