For sale is a very rare Art Deco table lamp by the Czech company Zukov with ESČ certificate, probably from the 1930s or 1940s with the model number 350002/1.
This lamp impresses with its very beautiful streamlined shape, is fully chrome-plated and has a very elegant bell made of beige opal glass. The lamp is in very good, fully functional condition.
The ESC logo on the lamp is often mistakenly interpreted as the company name.
However, ESČ, which is the correct spelling, was only the certificate of the Czechoslovak Electrotechnical Society (Elektrotechnický Svaz Československý) for electrical conformity from 1919 to 1951. It can be found on many electrical appliances from this period.
