Rare Hague School side chair, designed by Dutch architect Hendrik Wouda (1885-1946) for H.Pander & Sons, Rotterdam, 1920s to 1930s. The chair is made of oak and marked with the original metal label and maker's mark and indication of the production number. The seat has been expertly reupholstered with a green rib velvet fabric and padded. The chair is in good condition. This model is in the collection of the Amsterdam Rijksmuseum.
