Beautiful pink orange Art Deco cake plate by Luxval Val St Lambert made in the 1930s.The dessert plate is made of pressed crystal and has a beautiful geometric Art Deco pattern.
pressed crystal glass pink 1930s. This glass serving dish has a diameter of 32.5 cm and is 12.3 cm high. There are some bubbles and a line in the
glass. This is normal as these are created during the cooling process of the glass. The glass cake tray is in excellent vintage condition. The serving plate weighs approximately 1690 grams.
In 1935, Val Saint Lambert launched a full line of pressed glassware under the name Luxval. This consisted of glass bowls and vases in Art Deco style. Val Saint
Lambert (VSL) is Belgium's first glass factory, founded in 1826.
