Product description
Design armchair from 1954 by Koene Oberman for furniture factory Gelderland. The chair has stylishly shaped armrests of teak. The width from outside armrest to outside armrest is 77 cm, which is the same size as the height. The cushions are upholstered with the original wool blue furniture fabric. The sturdy steel frame is very sturdy with characteristic curved corners. It is indestructible and makes the chair extremely stable. The seating angle is ergonomically perfect. The condition is good. The slim cushions are still reasonably resilient. The cushion for the seat is 9 cm high. The back cushion tapers slenderly. There are some traces of use to report.
The seat has a brown stain in the upholstery measuring 2.5 x 1.5 cm.
At the two front bottom corners, there are two small cracks in the upholstery, revealing a piece of woodwork of the seat (about 2 x 3cm).
The bottom of 1 handrail has a rust spot of 1 x 2cm.
The wooden handrail has some scratches, buts and moisture stains on the top.
