The flower is always my starting point. My passion is to capture what I see behind the flower shapes. This results in beautifully four-dimensional (beyond thinking) painted floral motifs. The use of colour, light, depth and joy are characteristic of my abstract paintings. “I let everything arise, but I can always decide to turn left or right. And that's how I want it too! I don't have to stick to the exact shapes. That doesn't suit me, doesn't feel free, but I do paint the energy I see behind the flower shapes...” I am able to paint completely from the inside out; anything can come out…
